The Human Problem: Simple Solution #2 – (Part II of an ongoing series)

Problem: Holy pile of bile, Batman! When will intelligence begin to take root on this planet?

Will it one day [soon] be fully (or at least in part) understood that… with increasing population (7B+) and an increased workforce displacement, creating jobs at any level must always begin with creating money out of thin air?

It’s simple. More people – more people have to work. More people having to work = more jobs (even if they’re stupid jobs). More jobs are only created with money because something new has to be created. All at the expense of what? Say hello to your planet. Your buddy. Your always supportive pal that you depend upon thanklessly. You always think he’ll be able to do whatever you need him to do.

Now please do, stop and think about the process of creating jobs. Seriously. For once. On your own. Do it. Don’t let me convince you. I could. But you’re an adult aren’t you? Sometimes… I know.

Look. It takes… money from somewhere to most anything. And if its not available, then it must be created (printed). Can you say, “bailout?” We’ve all become familiar with that word recently. Bailout banks that control the money that gets created out of thin air whenever necessary.

A side by side alternative might be for those with ‘all ‘da money‘ to begin learning to live with less – with being efficient and intelligently aware of their general consumption. Really, it won’t kill you, but it might continue to kill the very place we call home.

But for such a thing to happen – well, we’d need to begin with kindergarten rules – IF they could ever be implemented beyond the 6th grade. Kindergarten might be a bit socialistic, but really… isn’t it really just good ‘ol humane rules of fairness? Get off the whole ‘socialism’ high horse, “job creators.” Ouch… get a band aid. By creating jobs senselessly, you’re hurting us all – and yes I know you think you’re helping. It is after-all a great skill to be a job creator. But creating with respect to the whole needs to be considered all the time (not just some of the time).

Everything we have comes from nature, not from money, or even from thoughts of creating money. Come talk to me when you’ve held intentional thoughts to manifest the creation of water, air, sunlight and other natural resources. If you can do that, then you’re manifesting. Everything else is just plain piles of ever-increasing bile.

Without an equally expanding human awareness – any general growth [of the use of technology] is dangerous. Those promises of a simple life, of less work… more time to spend with loved ones – it would have come true had the human population remained content and fixed. And that may have been the overlooked, underlying theme. Instead, technology became a license to have more of everything – faster, without thought of consequence. i.e. – shitty planning. What-Ever did we ‘really need’ to improve upon that was not working properly – besides our own-selves?

Using a simple mathematical substitution – IF:

TIME = MONEY

MONEY = “Fair” Exchange of goods/services,

THEN: TIME = “Fair” Exchange of goods/services

Simple Solution – We Can Do It:

Its a simple math substitution that says we CAN really get rid of the need for money. Cut out the middle-man.

This substitution method is common in the mathematical world. And if you’re mathematically inclined or educated, you’ve had to agree to and performed such calculations to get good grades in both high school and college. Remember? Probably not. Which proves the real value of all that “education” that rarely gets used. Its just there to give people jobs to teach useless crap. Unless you plan to use it in a profession. Either way, you still have to pay the bill for parts of your education that are basically unnecessary. Which really makes education a total business, and not an “education.” Education is simple.

And education should be free. Every great society freely shares vital information for its survival. Ours, for economic reasons, withholds and sells it because… uh, ok – I’ll save THAT for another chapter of, “Simple Solutions.”

The Human Problem: Simple Solution #1 – (Part I of an ongoing series)

Core Problem: There are just too many humans on the planet at once! The most effective solutions always define a problem at its core with near childlike simplicity and clarity. And unless a problem’s core is genuinely sought after with honest, fearless awareness – with maximum effort, any potential solution – however appealing and seemingly wonderful, will ultimately fail miserably over time and compound every other problem and/or current “solution” – because it is operating upon a falsely perceived, and/or defined core. The current state of global affairs proves this in every way imaginable. Everything we’re “doing” continues to create even more complex problems… and the ‘solution’s are creating even more problems.

In the past, agriculturally based metaphors & parables helped explain the great complexities of life in the simplest terms - because we were a simple, agricultural society. But that’s just not true anymore. We are now a mega-consuming, money-based, vital information selling (or hiding), derivative driven society. So, let’s bring things metaphorically up to date:

How might you begin solving the financial problems of a corporation that continued hiring people because it had no “stop” control within it’s hiring department? Hey, that’s what hiring departments do! They hire people. Don’t even know who does the training. And you can’t tell that department what to do, either. No one has any control over it. So they continue hiring people to infinity.

Imagine if this went on for hundreds of years (or more) unchecked? Imagine the massive effect on everyone – the incredible deficits - the crazy, almost cancer-like activity going on. Who might feel the effects of this ONE SIMPLE PROBLEM? Just a few people? The whole organization & beyond? Funny, how simple this example is, but the human population is quite comparable to this hiring department’s problem. We bring people here just because we can – without conscious thought of the massive consequences. And we really need to address it. We are all responsible.

People have driving licenses. There should be parenting licenses. The rules of life are a little more important than rules of the road.

The falsely perceived, and/or defined foundation:

Imagine if humanity still operated under the falsely understood, foundational understanding that the earth is flat – that weather is all chance – that there are unlimited resources for an infinite human population?

Generally speaking and for the most part, we humans still see ourselves as somewhat of a pinnacle of creation that can do whatever it pleases irrespective to all other living things while we share the same living space. And somehow we expect to either successfully exist or just disrespectfully not give a shit about anything else, all the while trying to find solutions to, or wasting even more natural resources to magically and/or scientifically cure unexplainable dis-eases with such amazingly apparent, moronic passions of goodwill.

Truth: Screw with the natural order of things – you will have repercussions of unforeseen magnitude – perhaps even some dis-ease. It comes as a unique side benefit (side effect).

We try to control children, students, workers, groups of people, world economies, nature (well, at least we think we do). But we can’t seem to be able to control our own selves. That’s not the best leadership by example, now is it? Sounds more like a parenting model – “Do as I say, not as I do.” That will be covered later in another Simple Solution.

No one really wants to face the truth (too many of us), because we are all the problem - myself included. In fact, if there were a voluntary program for people to “give their lives” for the cause of all mankind (not a silly war), I’d be the first in line to do so. One cannot ask anyone to do anything one wouldn’t or couldn’t do themselves, FIRST! That’s leadership.

It can’t be much of a secret [anymore] that nature will outlive us. It was here long before us. At least I HOPE it’s no secret… please tell me we’ve evolved at least that much.

It is now widely accepted, common knowledge fact that living (organic) things – ALL of us - really are ALL connected! So much so, that I won’t even bother to footnote the idea.

Simple Scenario:

Imagine if a child (your child if you have one) unknowingly played with your computer – which functions perfectly as designed – and figured out how to manipulate just a couple lines of it’s “unimportant” code – that was “connected” in some way to the core – unbeknownst to that child. What might be the repercussion of such, however cute, foolish playing around? It is playing around, isn’t it?

Now honestly - show me ONE THING in this “civilized” world we’ve created that is working to our healthy benefit. Seriously - JUST ONE - and I’ll agree with the human direction chosen – our human goal – whatever it is (wait – do we even have a goal?). Are we on some mission to see how fast we can destroy this playground here on planet Earth?

It’s time for this civilized society of mainly pre-adolescent human beings to wake up, to grow up, and start acting more responsibly – and quit acting like there are no problems while hiding behind the current avoidance-mechanism guise of, “Please, I don’t want to hear any more negativity.”

The problems are everywhere staring us in the face. We still appear to be in the gravest stages of denial – mostly in places where worldly “success” exists. Problems are shitting all over us in such a drenching, projectile, mustardly manner. We need a general awareness that severe errors in human judgement do in fact exist, and in incredibly dangerous proportions.

I hope you get the picture now. We humans play with things constantly. We tinker around with all kinds of stuff in the name of research hoping we’re doing something right while we (consciously or unconsciously – I’m not really sure) mess with an already perfectly functioning, organic operating system that is and was flawless before we arrived.

Modern, western civilization has been acting out the starring role of the very gods they religiously profess to respect and blindly believe in – all the while blaming some other evil deity or deities of doing what we’ve been doing ourselves, all along!

Could we be the very devil we so love to blame everything on? We HAVE been reorganizing everything in OUR image down here – playing god in every way imaginable.

The core of our human problem (if we can even admit we have one) is a general lack of awareness when it comes to our own species management. Anyone can procreate, but not everyone can responsibly raise healthy living human beings.

It is our inability to recognize and/or respect vital (organic) living systems outside of the puny reality box we’ve created for ourselves (a financially driven, totally disconnected society) that are absolutely vital to our very existence. We are all responsible for such laziness.

Awareness can have an uncanny ability to supersede all religion… however, one cannot necessarily see or understand this until one becomes self-aware. Those crazy savage people (see video) who knew how to live in harmony called this awareness, “Silent Knowledge.” Knowledge that just is. This knowledge never needed proof or scientific study because one was inherently aware of it. A little reminiscent of that garden of eden story isn’t it?

Simple Solution – We Can Do It:

If we can make a quantum leap (and I believe we are beginning) and start honestly and humbly addressing issues of awareness with heartfelt remorse and decisive positive action (not positive thinking, professing, or promising change, etc.), we could immediately begin putting our existence back onto a path of a once-again, perfectly healthy, fully functioning-as-designed, organic-technology-driven world:

Bear children responsibly

Embrace healthy & intelligent [human] population controls – our survival depends upon it

Stop playing god and rearranging everything in a godlike fashion (and blaming a fallen angel)

Become aware of (without re-engineering) our already perfect & functional ecosystem

With great awareness comes great responsibility. And with great responsibility there is an unending, unpopular need to solicit wise decisions. When will the human family begin it’s long-overdue journey of sincere, respectful responsibility of taking care of all living things intelligently?

Remember the Core Problem: Less, Really IS More (less humans, that is…)

What a great perspective… and long overdue.

I love the shit outta this kid here. I see so much potential in him. He’s quiet, gentle, he’s amazing. He’s bright, inquisitive, he’s beautiful. He takes everything apart – literally, everything. Clocks, motors, watches, toys – you name it. He likes figuring things out on his own because he’s a little impatient.

He loves spiders. He’ll silently question every goddamn thing under the sun and won’t stop until he finds a suitable answer. But he’ll keep it all inside, fearing that no one will give him the time of day to listen. And so he stutters profusely, doubts himself, and wets his bed consistently. He never complains. Just does what needs to be done – before anyone even opens their mouth. Beautiful.

A pint-sized, runt – 9yrs old in this picture. He’s quick, generally shy, athletic (almost a kickball legend), and excels effortlessly in school – well, except for when it comes to speaking up for himself. He’s afraid of that. There are plenty of reasons. But it doesn’t matter right now. He’s happy with his $1 pair of plastic cleats and his $3 Zayres special edition plastic fielder’s glove.

Like most of us, he had his share of unnecessary beatings and verbal humiliations by bullies & fucktards, as well as god-awful moments of being entirely misunderstood in the name of general, parental, authoritative, adult impatience & manipulation. It’s kind of accepted as normal in our world, isn’t it? Let’s call it, “age discrimination.” Age doesn’t necessarily mean you know more than a child anymore than having college degrees makes one smart.

This kid is ultra-sensitive, always thinking of others feelings first, and would never choose to fight for any reason, except that he had no other choice left. And even then, he might give in, because he sees no reason to fight. He think people that fight are weak and just aren’t willing to learn to communicate. He often friends those that need a friend the most. I love this kid! Go get ‘em kid! Give ‘em hell! Show ‘em the way…

I’m so proud of, and have such unconditional love for this little guy. He still lives inside. He’s finally free. And you’ve got someone like this inside you, too! Have a little ‘ME’ time every now and then. You’ll love what you find… when you find it.

We all have varying degrees of general dysfunction. Life has never been fair. It’s true that those who benefit from great parenting have quite the edge over those who don’t. And that’s unacceptable at best. It doesn’t have to be this way. It’s just societal laziness. If we want to change things in life, we need to change things in life.

It can take up to 30+ years to undo the first 10. So, for those still recovering from shitty parent residual, here are some follow-up Self Parenting Skills:

“If you don’t learn how to fulfill your
Emotional Dependency Needs
Then you’ll never feel safe, sane
and secure in the world

If you don’t expect emotional intimacy
You are really saying that -
“I’m OK with you being emotionally distant from me”
And you’ll distance yourself for fear of rejection

If you don’t demonstrate unconditional love… for your Self
You are showing people that
“I’m not worthy of receiving love
I’m not worthy of your benefit of the doubt”

If you don’t demand respect
You’ll give people permission to treat you disrespectfully
For we teach people how to treat us
By the way we treat ourselves

If you don’t use your adult powers
You’ll fall prey to your own “child-like” ego defenses
And the walls you build
Will keep out all the love you seek

If you don’t maturely defend your boundaries
With your adult powers
Then people will continue to “trespass” you
Just like they did when you were a child

If you don’t give your Self permission to be your true Self
Then people will “mold you” into who they want you to be
Taking you further from the light of your True Self
And further into the darkness of your false “persona” (a mask)

If you don’t learn to validate and release your feelings freely
Then your feelings will create dis-ease within you
For a dis-ease is a perfect creation, too
A repressed, negative feeling made manifest

If you beat your Self up when you “act out”
With “less than perfect” behavior
Then you are affirming that, “I am my behavior”
And not a child of the “Everything” (or God)

If you’re not willing to practice Self-parenting skills
Until they become a part of your consciousness
Then when life “tests” you – and it will
You’ll unconsciously attempt to protect your Self
Using immature, childlike methods

If you don’t, “respond with ability” to make your life
Emotionally, sexually, and physically
Safe, Sane, and Secure
Then you’ll live a miserable life of “quiet desperation”
Forever comfortable in your “uncomfortable-ness”
And ever fearful of life’s wonderful, infinite opportunities”

- (original idea author unknown, but I edited this quite a bit)

For every Teen Mom extraordinaire, [grand] parent-pleaser, emotionally-intoxicated, and/or clueless & just wingin’ it, parent wanna bee:

Parenting is hard. So is being the President. In fact, being the President might be easier. To be a parent, you’ve got to fully understand the complete job description before blindly volunteering. You’ve got to do the job with all that you are – with commitment beyond the word itself. And if you cannot, please don’t even bother. Don’t force the rest of us (society) to eventually have to deal with problems you created.

If you are a parent currently struggling with the job, you may need to get all the help you can ask for. Friends, family, neighbors – whoever you can trust. Often, these very people can speak the exact same words you hear yourself reiterating daily to your children (to no avail) – and it’ll actually be heard with much more weight. Children don’t always listen to parents, but they do listen to non-parents. Don’t ask why – it’s always been that way – Who cares why… work with it!

Asking for help shows that you recognize the importance of guiding your child(ren) properly for their greatest benefit, NOT that you can’t handle being a parent. It’s not about you! Get over yourself! And even if you feel you can’t handle it at times, you can’t really quit now, can you? Your mother, “told you so, didn’t she?”

Parenting IS the highest, most important job any human being could EVER do… do treat it with the utmost attention, respect and seriousness. It is the most serious of ‘business.’ Your ‘regular’ job, career, or profession is less than minuscule.

Please… please BE a healthy person in every manner possible! Why would anyone ever create a potentially broken, challenged person? Do you realize that by being a parent you are agreeing to be a child’s care-taker, provider, supportive trainer, and life-model during the formidable years. You are god.

Children can be cute little dolls to dress up and cuddle with. You’ll have those breath-taking, wonderful moments. But recognize that they are also little tyrants that will push you beyond your known limits – beyond what you could ever imagine They might also grow into transitional bucking teen-agers and eventually, future adults just like you. Know that they will need all the love & support they can get their little hearts on – at the most inconvenient times.

Children are not toys, play-things, companions, trophies, cash cows, entertainers, worker bees, relationship chess pieces, or even insulation from your husband, wife, partner or family members – though they often can be. And contrary to the jurassically popular opinion, they are NOT, need-to-stop-selfish-need-for-second-chances-at-parenting, reciprocal ‘gift packages‘ either. They really are REAL PEOPLE. They’re just younger & smaller than you. Be mindful of replicating those shitty, unconscious parental patterns that drove you nuts.

Children learn what they live. They are always observing you – especially when you think they’re not. Remember that? Your words are cheap, your actions speak. Expect them to challenge your half-witted, behavior-controlling reasoning, double standards, and half-truths. Admit mistakes. They’ll admit to the same degree you do. Your example sets the tone for the environment. If your home feels like a war zone, you allowed it. (see rule #1 again)

Treat children with the same (or more) respect you would yourself, a loved one or a best friend. They are not inconvenient ‘things’ to put up with or enjoy when YOU’RE ready to. They are real people with real feelings. If you think you need to hit them… shame on you! You’re wrong. It’s YOUR fault for not doing your job – NOT theirs. You waited too long to address something (or things) like an adult – admit it, you just did, no excuses. That’s lazy parenting. (see rule #1 again)

Protect your children, but don’t shield them from life’s hardships. They will fall down, get hurt, maybe break bones, or get burned, scraped, and experience failures & heartbreaks. Be there with guidance & support. Don’t ever bully/boss them around in the name of authority because you’re bigger or have more useless knowledge to manipulate them. That’s age discrimination. They are not “just kids.” They are not “just teen-agers.” If so, you are, “just parents.” (see rule #6 again)

Be careful how you train and domesticate them. They are not animals to train to do your work. They love helping adults (big people) because it gives them validation of being ‘real, big & important.’ Helping is the highest form of play for a child. DON’T’ take advantage of it, work with it fairly – it’ll come back to you (positively & negatively) in the years to come. Things will come back to you in old age with equal value when you begin crapping your pants and crying for attention again wanting to be listened to – you know those stories you’ve told countless times. Just remember how you responded to authority. Who did YOU to listen to & respect? Remember why and do likewise.

"I can learn to honor you my little, inexperienced, equal person I brought here. Tell me what YOU see that I have overlooked due to my stale & outdated personal history that limits me from relating to you. Please accept my apologies for arrogantly disregarding your ideas, feelings, or wishes as childish, unimportant or redundant. In this age of technology, I need to learn from you. I hope when I ask questions over & over because I do not understand what you so easily do, you'll have patience for me."

Listen to and encourage creative ideas & ‘strange’ visions or perceptions of children. They come here without preconceived notions of reality that might not be what you’ve been fed to unquestionably believe. And if imagination rules the world, tell me… who has the market cornered on that? Right – children.

Play with your children on their level. You’ve been their age before, they haven’t been yours. If you play on their level, you’ll assist in opening their levels of trust and accelerate overall growth… remember your childhood. Go there in mind & heart. They’ll always meet you there on their level.

Train them consistently with relative, attainable responsibilities & open communication. Punishment is ridiculously outdated and belongs to the dark ages. Give them choices and fair consequences instead. Make time to answer questions rationally and respectfully, remembering that they are not always functioning on YOUR page. You’ll be amazed at their intelligence. They might not be able to think as quickly as you can (just yet), so be patient – one day they’ll be way better than you – IF you did your job! (see rule #1 again)

With technology ever increasing you may need children more than you realize for the first time ever in recorded history. Lower your ego’s defenses. You will earn their respect for that (yes, respect is earned). They will heed your advice much easier. Many problems with children/teens are issues with general respect for authority because authority doesn’t recognize them fairly or reciprocally. (see rule #6 again)

Many children are incredibly sensitive. It’s all too easy to crush a spirit. If they ever speak to or about invisible friends, have dreams/nightmares, are becoming reclusive or withdrawn – don’t pawn it off as just a phase, or insensitively tell them to, “just get over it, already!” That makes them feel unimportant. It may well lead them to think there could be something wrong with them. Their reality is REAL for them – just as real as your reality is to you. It could be that you’re just blind to what they see, what they’re going through because you’ve lost touch with what it’s like to go thru life’s many stages.

Society [likes to think that it] plans retirement, careers, vacations, businesses, cities, etc. – Bring children into this world with love and a plan (do not, NOT have a plan!). Allow them to develop into themselves, NOT what you think they should be, what others think, or what you wish YOU did. It’s not all-about-you now. It’s their turn. You unconditionally love them. You agreed to be their providers, supportive trainers, and life-models, remember?

Important Note: Everyone learns through repetition, so let’s repeat & rephrase rule #1: If you cannot do the above or have no time (if you need a nanny or babysitter, what are your reasons for having children?), maybe you might help a friend, neighbor, or family with children already here. They can never get enough love & attention to feed and nurture their souls.

A mother and father is not enough. Nor are step-parents, boyfriends or girlfriends. And ex’s aren’t always pleasant. It takes a healthy community around the child. Parents are just a gateway to life. Like you, children are eventually their own to be. And if you’re not finished with the “it’s about me” part of life, maybe parenthood should wait awhile longer.

There’s already plenty of people here. No one actually needs to have children. 7 billion people poop at least 1/2lb every day. Think about that. And contrary to popular opinion, one does not need to be a parent to understand how to parent. That argument is just an outdated, “I didn’t know what I was really getting myself into – you don’t know what I’m going through,” unchecked, jur-ass-ic -like belief. A logical fallacy. Yes, people know what you got yourself into. And they’re happy they’re not you at certain times. But it’s all good… somehow. Keep your head up!

When you can…
Face the sting of rejection
Feel terror without giving into fear
When you can…
Feel confidence without arrogance
Give love without attachment
And Embrace anger without hate
You are home

When you are tired
Without feeling weary
When you have lost all hope
Yet carry on anyway
When you have lost everything
And still have all you need
You are home

When you can…
Respect all living things
Allowing life to express freely
You are home

When you are sincerely yourself
Having fostered strength required
To endure such a consequence
You are home

When you have found your every answer
Without need to be right
When you can begin anything
Without a concrete outcome
You are home

When you can love to win humbly
Understanding that it’s only temporary
When you can embrace losing gracefully
Knowing you’ve done your best
Recognizing its just not your time yet
You are home

Welcome to life’s living movie
Familiar shows throughout the ages
Repeating endlessly
Admission costs everything that you are
No One really gets hurt

So… yea,
I’m pretty close to home
And you…?

so much beauty inside…
yet from nearly everything sane
the human family hides

tired & weak
from reasons too deep
to ever really want to seek
all they do is work, work, work
drifting off into a zombie’s deadly sleep

toughness or frailty
it determines direction
of all general reality
this is how things work;
some lessons in reality:

the artist-
shows what she sees;
the dancer-
loves to move free;

the thinker-
liberates;
the teacher-
translates;
the student-
assimilates;

the poet-
deliberates;
the philosopher-
pontificates;

the craftsman-
everything, he makes;
the businessman-
ever so kindly, takes;
the politician-
lies & fakes;

the preacher-
knows god;
could there be
any bigger fraud?

the thief-
steals;
the slave-
kneels;
a medicine man-
lives to heal;

the profaneness of blind vanity
is it mere words
or intended vulgarity?

only fools separate the similarity
between insaneness and reality

we come from a place
where all that we need – is
nothing is broken
and no one is alone

preparing for the journey
we’re off to a place
where many get lost
are forgotten, hurt, and alone
off to a place
where pleasure is fleeting
and pain is your faithful friend

but pain is your message
an ally – a helper
with a clear message
that some-thing isn’t working
some-thing needs to be heard
some-thing desires to be born

now who are you?
and why are you here?
where is your home,
and what does love mean to you?
why bother to fight,
when everyone is sure they’re so right?

just go with the flow
in this endless show
this contract of time
where feelings always know
it’s time for you to grow…

listen… its all just a game
where everyone’s the same
invent any rule
then hide in your name
but your precious nature…
no, it was never there to tame

all that we learn
and all that we know
when the moment comes
we just gotta let it all go…

life is beautiful
it’s timely and just
when you hear its endless song
forever isn’t very long

now go live your life
and do what you must…
let go of your reasons
and live with blind trust

No, nothing could ever be wrong
You’re right where you belong

Let go and feel that immense calm strong
Relentlessly living
Life’s ever-changing song

Be brave – Be bold
Shatter all limiting molds
That even dare to try to take hold

Shake awake the ache
And live wide awake
Putting everything at stake
Coloring all you make
Creating for your soul’s sake

It’s YOU the world is waiting for
With OH so much to explore
See you in due time
Living life’s mastery climb

And that ever elusive, humble dove
Many say, supposedly is
Sent from above…?
Perhaps it nests deep inside
And shakes things thereof
A most trustworthy guide

Answers… they’re found in nature
Where endless beauty abounds
With strange rhythmic sounds
And quiet gentle pounds
Cloaking hidden wisdom crowned
It delightfully hounds
Any primal heart ready to be found

So feel free to run
There is no place to hide
Everything you do
Fills a necessary place inside

The renown, often misunderstood 19th century german philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche was really onto something when he said, “God is dead.” And, for the record, that’s not all he ever said. It’s interesting how people get remembered. I give him great credit for at least thinking… most don’t even get that far in life.

Man and god are both dead. There is no god. And if there is, man created this god in his image… and then immediately began killing himself over millennia by attempting to re-create everything he said god made – because… you know - creation (god) just never seemed to get it right. Man obviously knew better than what he said created him. And if god created families, well… they don’t always seem to work so well, either.

Families will always be dysfunctional, always fall apart and repeat cycles until someone wakes up and says, ‘enough is enough!’ And bang! The cycle is broken. It requires tons of energy to do such things – energy that is available to us all. It’s hard. It’s so much easier, so much more convenient to avoid it all and get lost in a rat race. But is it really? Take a good look at yourself and be honest. You CAN break free of such predictable, typical human behaviors.

Family is the human foundation. When family does not resolve issues amongst itself – it gets carried over to the next generation to be resolved – and then some. Awareness wants to express itself, one way or the other. And it always will – regardless of the means – regardless of even your best intended wishes.

Why are ‘the arts’ so important at this time more than ever? To help us wake up to what we’re really doing, not what we only think we’re doing. The arts will always be here to assist us with resolving issues in a collective manner – until we learn to do a little… no wait, a lot of hard work. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Next to the church, Hollywood – the lonely mass of dysfunctionals seeking unattainable satisfactory attention & recognition, might be by far, the greatest human avoidance of shit. And their expression of this shit for our benefit has a price – for us both. They live out their lives on stage, producers profit from their ‘therapy’ and we get a most wonderful distraction from ourselves while children model their behavior – that, by the way is quite unrealistic in the ‘real’ world. That’s cool. They’re paid well, but how many are actually happy? How many are isolated, relationship hopping, nutbags? There is always a tradeoff – for everyone. Now don’t stay up too late, you’ll have their shit to discuss at the water cooler today. ‘Did you see last night’s episode?’

More often than we might realize, these expressions of art – via every media outlet, are not always healthy for children to witness. It’s not their shit, but it becomes their shit, when exposed. It will affect them one way or the other. Hey, prime time sells. And you’re left with deciding what your children watch – that’s your problem – like you don’t already have enough to do.

So, you see, we as humans can no longer avoid our shit. It becomes everyone’s collective shit. If the family falls apart, everything does. But who really cares? There’s shit to do.

If the family unit were functioning as designed, perhaps we wouldn’t need 10k seat churches, psychologists of every classification, and the arts on such an uncontrollably large scale – for the means with which we use them – to heal ourselves – no wait, to make money and exploit everything under the sun. Then again, maybe every one is ok. Maybe nothing needs fixing. What are we trying to fix? What’s ‘normal?’

So much wasted energy spent avoiding ourselves – yet in the end, we will all face ourselves on the death bed. But it gives us jobs to do – so we can pay ourselves while procreating senselessly and create more of a mess for those kids brought here without any thought. It occupies time here in an ‘acceptable’ manner. Just get with the program.

There appears to be no escape from truth. It seeks resolution as sure as water seeks the lowest point. Humans create hells of their own by the avoidance of all ‘shit.’ And I hear humans try to their best to create heaven with positive attitudes and over-inflated hype. Or is it somewhere in the sand – where most heads are?

In the end, if there even is a god, he’s gotta be rolling on some floor of clouds laughing at this ridiculous comedy show of such serious, nonchalant entitlement of epic proportion… or maybe he’s ashamed and abandoned us from his garden eons ago, allowing us to face our own genius consequences – of wanting to continually recreate / reorganize what was already created in perfection.

Please… tell me again about this ‘devil’ character? It just might be us… No wait, it is!

Different faces, locations & time relative props, enhanced with music, lighting, filters, camera tricks, & sound effects.

These temporary realities mentioned above all agree [with us] to have already happened. They then, within a certain time frame, show up for our viewing pleasure as ‘an experience.’

Conclusion: It’s all the past projected on a screen – on the retina of your eye (camera). So it appears we do all live in the past, relatively speaking. But we fool ourselves into thinking it’s right now. Setting intentions and expecting them to come to pass is also a form of living in the past. If you create in the moment and the experience shows up later, hasn’t it already happened in the past?

The truth is so boring and uneventful. That’s why story always plays with the truth. It’s the human condition. Stories can be devilish or divine, filled with creative fiction, games, love, betrayal & horror… make truth interesting and fun.

Richard Bach: Illusions - We all co-create reality as an entire cast. And when we change form (die), its just the end of a show (or contract) with ‘our cast.’ A new season will come soon… if we want another contract. Be patient. It’s just a huge reality show. No one really gets hurt – but it sure as hell looks and feels real, doesn’t it?

Call me a reality voyeur, but it’s fun to observe things. Now let’s get on with the show.

Can someone please help me understand just what it is that the human race is up to? What are we doing down here (no plan) other than acting like wild, unruly teenagers left us at the beach house for the weekend? What’s our goal? Collectively. Aren’t we supposed to have a goal? That’s what we’re taught in school. The system that teaches and professes to live by it, doesn’t have one. But that’s no surprise. If you don’t have a goal, then you’re an aimlessly, dangerous waste product, right? We’re so smart – it frightens me.

If the human race did have a collective goal it would to infinitely grow senselessly on every level – without respect to anything other than conjured up economies – immense piles of bullshit to keep us busy like rats on greased wheels. It keeps us competing with each other with an ultimate goal of taking advantage of one another. After all, one person (or country’s) problem is our opportunity, until the table turns on us. Funny… the earth itself isn’t growing infinitely or competing with us, yet we continually take advantage of it. Wonder when that table will turn on us? Has the earth had any growth since we’ve been measuring it? I’m referring to its size. Things have obviously been growing ON it.

Ever hear the question, “I wonder if aliens are watching us?” What a ridiculously ignorant question. They’re all around us. Millions and millions of them. OK, maybe they aren’t really aliens like we think of aliens – from another world, but they may as well be, because we act like they aren’t really here. These aliens are afraid of us. They know who we are and prudently stay away from us as much as possible. And yes, they are more intelligent, larger in number, more aware, and contrary to skewed opinions based on nothing really, are actually quite evolved. Can you guess who they are or where they might be?

These aliens have something we call instinct – a superhuman intelligence received at birth that needs no lessons. But perhaps its more of just a general connection with itself on a level we look down upon – connection to the earth and perhaps a higher order (than we’ve been able to determine with our blob of soupy gray matter) of inexplicable intelligence.

We waste human genius, talent and ability to perpetuate the religion of money – to take advantage of one another – to have more shit that doesn’t make us happy – seeking out that infinite growth thing.

It’d be so easy to change all of this. Just change it! There are no more easy, comfortable solutions. I love babies. I love the human race. Most of the time.

It’s true. I admit it. I objectify women. And I’m pretty happy being a man. Women are absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. Many of them – on the outside anyway. They really put tons of work into it. They have to. Society says so. We could always use a little more beauty here and there. But let’s face it, women objectify men just as much. “I wonder if he’s husband material? He looks like he is a good provider.” But men don’t seem to mind much.

So… in all fairness, women need to take a look at their objectifying as well. You’re welcome, men. We’re not as dumb as women think we are. We just don’t always care what women think about us.

I think men are potentially as complicated as women, we just don’t take the time to even care to express it. There’s shit to do that’s more important – like thinking about how awesome that beautiful woman would be to ravage - or to be ravaged by. “How is my sports team doing?” “Check out my awesome car.” Or… “How much hunting do I need to do before I can totally have that beautiful object?” Call it instinct, natural selection, cultural programming, an inability to control one’s self, whatever. It’s there. It’s everywhere. I see it and love it… but also hate it because it entraps me.

Perhaps its time that men & women begin to incorporate more of the each-other into each-other. A blending. Something like that metro-sexual thing, only not as creepy. It could be a simple solution to many a ‘complex’ problem. Is it possible? I think the whole gay & lesbian population is here to just bring a most natural balance to the chaos we’ve all created over the years. But you might only observe that if you look at the BIG PICTURE. Most don’t.

If you’re a woman, you might use beauty, food preparation, or general taking-care-of-your-man because [his] Mommy did such a shitty job (Who’s your Mommy?). Maybe if men and women stopped being so predictably stereotypical, men might stop hunting and women might quit worrying about themselves – how they need to look. Wouldn’t that be attractive? Yikes! But since it takes two to tango, both sides need to cooperate because both sides are just as guilty as the other – if we seek to blame the other, that is. One hooks the other. But only because of the apparent disconnection between those same two people on the inside of us all. We are ALL responsible for everything…. we are ALL responsible… or no one is.

Though some women (and men) consciously or unconsciously love being objectified, I personally think that it has led us to the mess we are in today. Power struggles at any cost. Images of illusory beauty (for women) or illustrious power (for men) can easily entrap anyone as much as anything else – chasing infinite youth, a successful, high profile career, fame, the ultimate high, projecting the perfect relationship / marriage or family, etc..

We all get caught in our own illusions – we are all addicted to something potentially harmful to ourselves. No addiction is better or worse than any other – except that we make it out to be with society norms.

If I really intend and expect to change the world, I must first start with myself – by being honest & transparent. It can be painfully difficult because how can anyone see what one might be blind to? Maybe that’s what family & friends are for.

As it is in the micro – so it is in the macro. Welcome to planet earth. Everything appears to be fractal-ly created. Fractals. Google it. You’ll see. Its why we are in the present state of existence. We f(p)ractally all created it. And there’s little we can do about it. We are all in this together regardless of whether one likes it or even agrees. I’ll say it again – everyone (100%), not just 99% of us is responsible.

Imagine for a moment… if we could all reconnect to ourselves and just be honest – its asking alot, I know… but, remember what imagining was like…? It was real! It’s one of the first things learned in our formal educations. Maybe its time to start all over again… again. We should use more of what we learned in kindergarten. It appears the only useful thing learned was that “here’s how to safely learn that you’re going to eventually be left out,” musical chairs game. Crazy, isn’t it? But that’s what we’ve all, without opposition call ‘normal.’

by Robert Fulghum

“Most of what I really need
To know about how to live
And what to do and how to be
I learned in kindergarten.
Wisdom was not at the top
Of the graduate school mountain,
But there in the sandpile at Sunday school.
These are the things I learned:

Share everything.
Play fair.
Don’t hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don’t take things that aren’t yours.
Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
Live a balanced life -
Learn some and think some
And draw and paint and sing and dance
And play and work everyday some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world,
Watch out for traffic,
Hold hands and stick together.
Be aware of wonder.”

I tried it and was terrible. It felt so unauthentic and always gave me an awful feeling. It’s barbaric, stupid, childish and leads to war. Why don’t we just cut to the chase – compete and kill each other outright for food and resources like animals do? Oh, wait… that’s right, we already do.

I’m not sure I even know what ‘human’ means. Do you? Don’t fool yourself. We’re all still animals after all these years. But we now we have ‘great’ technology to hunt with. Aren’t we amazing. That’s a statement, not a question. Could we evolve as quick as inorganic technology has…? I’m ever hopeful. We are a form of technology – Organic technology.

Competition in the form of a game (which usually has a participation & time limit for obvious reasons), sharpens skill. It can be fun for everyone – spectators included. Competition in the form of a living game (as in survival) creates death in equal proportions to the amount of greed present. It’s Life101. Simply put – the bigger the city, the greater the slums. And when there are so many people competing in such a game as this (musical chairs), there is no way to realistically control it. It’s a mob. Our cultural rules don’t necessarily outline population controls, either. Maybe they should.

Thought shift. Have you ever asked yourself, “Where is my passion? Where is that beating heart of mine…?” Now I’m referring to passion not motivated by financial gain, of course. How did the people that find passion in winning financial gains (yes, it is an addiction) come to ruthlessly control the whole world with money? How did we all just sit back and let it happen? We all need egos check-up every once in awhile.

So…I thought I’d ask myself (you can’t ask of anyone what you haven’t done yourself first, or are willing to do alongside) what my passions are:

"Is it with getting totally-lost-in-music? With expressing myself through poetic, irony? Could it be with exposing that giant-sized, closet-philosopher inside of me that seeks to unravel how everything works, asking questions infinitum? I spend lots of time there... the gears are always churning... silently. Is it with just loving people? Another side of me genuinely enjoys listening to and subtly teaching people. And solving 'complex' problems - its as natural to me as water is to wet. Anything that involves creativity, challenge, the unknown, or attention to detail, suits me wonderfully."

Now where is this great ‘human being’ that we are told is so intelligent? I’d rather hear about it’s compassion. Intelligence has no compassion. It’s cold and calculative. Compassion is merely a form of emotional intelligence thats needs some recognition. And it always wins – even in death.

We need to evolve… and change these things:

the breakup & collapse of the human family

the inability for people to get along & accept one another unconditionally

human population management

the distribution of natural resources

I hope as a race of human beings, we can all grow up and stop being so selfish. Share your toys – share your talents – respect people – help them. How does it makes you feel? What a currency that could be, eh!? THAT good feeling is your emotional intelligence in action. Far better than IQ in my opinion.

Maybe money is better suited for burning. It is paper. It’s also the falsest sense of safety, security, status, and entitlement to natural resources ever invented. When people started making money from money, that’s where the system became corrupt. No services rendered. Another form of slavery. I’ll have to suck it up for now and play along, but in the background I’ll be devising a plan and teaching youth (like the rest of the silent, intelligent people) to smash this ridiculous game that exploits the sincere and honest.

Yea, you’d totally want someone like me on your team. I get ‘picked’ first for a reason…

Where do we all go from here? Anywhere… but where we’ve been I guess. The industrial revolution is over. Are you feeling the shift?

Technology is forcing us all to to hurry up! It’s nullifying generations, increasing gaps in social cohesion faster than ever. It’s here to stay until everyone tires themselves out senselessly and realizes how ridiculous it is. But it has to happen so we can understand how intelligent we really are. It’s a product of our great ‘civilized’ society.

So to keep upcoming generations prepared for this ever-changing, real world we’ll all need to adapt and develop new, most important, emerging skill set: Creativity

Feel me
From the inside out
I’m bleeding…
It hurts
But something tells me
This is the way

A little scared
Never stretched this much before
With loving emotion
The fear is boiled away
Nothing can resist

Get back to simplicity
Appreciate all that is
Watch the moment come alive
Welcome back to eternity
It never was too far away

Unfrozen in time
I feel skies open
Imparting its mystery
Into my soul

Forever rests
I’m alive again
This is just the beginning
Once again…
